Why Play for Fever?

Here are a few great reasons why your athlete should play for Fever:

  • Fever is the oldest and biggest club basketball program in northern Colorado.  For over 11 years, we have consistently formed 10-15 competitive teams each season.  Simply put, we have formed over 200 teams, more than anyone else in the region.  We have the most experience in club basketball.
  • Fever places our teams in the most competitive leagues and tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally.  We challenge our players to play against the best competition.
  • Almost all of our coaches have experience playing basketball at the collegiate level, and all have significant experience coaching at the semi-professional, college, high school, and club level.   Many of our coaches are licensed by the USA Basketball Youth Development Program.
  • We've developed thousands of players and helped them all to play at their highest potential.  Fever provides individual and small group training opportunities through our training program, Pinnacle Basketball Training.  We play to win, but ultimately, player development is one of our top priorities.
  • Fever has helped more players reach their goal of playing college basketball than any other club in our area.  Although only a small percentage of our players will play basketball after high school, Fever, our coaches, and alumni have the experience to advise players who have aspirations of playing college basketball.
  • We genuinely care about the development of your athlete.  Our coaches are vested in your child's success and improving his basketball skills.
  • Fever is a 501c3 organization and offer scholarships to families that demonstrate financial need.
  • Fever offers fundraising opportunities and flexible payment plans so that the financial burden of playing competitive basketball is minimized.
  • We believe in balance.  It takes a great deal of effort and repetition to be good at basketball.  If you play on a Fever team, we will ask you to make a commitment to attend practices and games.  That being said, we encourage our players to play multiple sports and participate in different kinds of extracurricular activities.
  • Fever attracts the best players from northern Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska.  We are fortunate that so many great players want to play for Fever.

We hope you will see the value Fever brings your athlete and that you will compete for a spot on  a Fever team this summer.  Please let us know if you have questions about what it is like to play for Rocky Mountain Fever.
